Meet Dr. Nanci Miklowski, ND
Dr. Nanci Miklowski is a Naturopathic Doctor registered with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and licensed in Wisconsin and California. She graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Psychology from The Ohio State University in 1999 and went on to earn a Master of Education in 2003, also from Ohio State. After several years teaching middleschool science, Dr. Nanci felt called to pursue her passion for natural medicine. This led her to the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), where she earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree in 2015.
During her time at NUNM, Dr. Nanci completed a mentorship at the SIBO Center for Digestive Health under the guidance of Drs. Steven Sandberg-Lewis and Allison Siebecker. Following graduation, she served as the resident naturopathic doctor at a busy primary care practice in Portland, Oregon, specializing in gut health and the underlying causes of chronic fatigue.
In addition to her focus on digestive health, Dr. Nanci has expanded her expertise to include hormone health. She is a Certified Mold-Literate Practitioner, having trained with Dr. Jill Crista, and has completed the Integrated Fertility Care for Naturopathic Doctors course with Dr. Jocelyn Land-Murphy.
With nearly a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Nanci is dedicated to identifying the root causes of digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, and chronic fatigue. She works with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, and draws on her teaching background to help educate and empower her patients about their health.
In her free time, Nanci enjoys gardening, practicing yoga, walking her energetic rescue dog, and making crafts with her daughter.
“Dr. Nanci is easy to understand and a compassionate guide in holistic health. I continue to find her recommendations thoughtful and considerate of my needs and goals. She has been a great support as I explore more natural ways to relieve PMS and address root causes of painful and disruptive symptoms.
