Meet Dr. Leslie Vilensky, ND
Dr. Leslie Vilensky is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (NMD) with 20 years in private practice. She earned her B.A. in Philosophy and Pre-Medical studies from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN (1992), and received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA (1998).
After completing her medical education Dr. Vilensky moved back to MN to begin her practice. Dr. Vilensky served as President of the Minnesota Association of Naturopathic Physicians from 2006 to 2012. During this time Dr. Vilensky played an instrumental role in moving legislation forward that supports strong professional standards for Naturopathic Doctors in the state of Minnesota. In 2009, she was appointed to the Minnesota Naturopathic Advisory Council, part of the Board of Medical Practice, which oversees the practice of naturopathic medicine in Minnesota.
Dr. Vilensky has extensive clinical experience working with patients that are navigating complex health issues. One of her greatest passions is addressing underlying root causes of illness with an empathic, individualized, patient-centered approach. This led her to becoming an expert in the treatment of Chronic Lyme Disease and other causes of chronic fatigue. Her specialized training includes the International Lyme and Associated Disease Society (ILADS) Physician Training Program and an extensive clinical rotation with internationally-renowned Lyme-expert Dr. Bernard Raxlen in New York City (2009).
“Dr. Vilensky strikes the right balance between professionalism and empathy. She is knowledgeable and encouraging and will put you at ease, making you feel positively about healing. I think feeling like you can trust your doctor and that they really care about your wellbeing makes a huge difference on any path to wellness. I absolutely recommend Dr. Vilensky for naturopathic care.”

“I love working with women of all ages as they navigate their way through changes in their bodies and lives. I help women heal by balancing hormonal fluctuations that may contribute to symptoms of PMS, perimenopause and menopause, difficult weight loss, endometriosis, fertility issues, and more. As a doctor and the mother of two college-aged daughters, I know how challenging it can be to find balance while also prioritizing self-care and one’s health. I encourage my patients on a healing journey which allows them to enjoy their lives and their families more fully.”
