Vibrant Menopause and Perimenopause Program

Menopause can be a vibrant time in your life. It can be illuminating, liberating, even fun.

At Be Well Natural Medicine, we want to enrich and uplift your experience with menopause and perimenopause.

Our Vibrant Menopause and Perimenopause Program is designed to support women who are post-menopausal or noticing perimenopausal changes in their cycles and want to proactively prepare for a smooth transition. We’re here for every woman’s experience, from those dealing with uncomfortable symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats, vaginal dryness, decreased libido, sleep disruption, energy and mood changes, to those who actually feel “pretty good” but want to really radiate health with more energy, enhanced libido, strong bones and a deeper connection to self-care.

We’re here for every woman’s experience.

The program helps women who are experiencing symptoms related to hormonal changes common during menopause and perimenopause find a combination of diet, lifestyle, nutritional supplements and botanical medicines to optimize their life and body balance and allow for vibrant health during this beautiful period of hormonal transition. Women on the Vibrant Menopause/Perimenopause Program can expect fewer hot flashes and night sweats, balanced moods, improved energy, and more restorative sleep.

How It Works:

1 // Holistic Perimenopause/Menopause Assessment
This process typically starts with a thorough evaluation of your menstrual cycle history, hormonal health and overall health (past and present), as well as a discussion of your current diet and any medications/supplements you are currently taking or have previously tried.

2 // Lab Testing
Your Be Well doctor will discuss whether or not she recommends any lab testing.  Lab testing may be beneficial to pinpoint and identify changes in your hormones that may be contributing to your perimenopausal/menopausal health concerns. Common lab tests we recommend:

Hormone Testing: to look for excess or deficiency of key hormones that can contribute to symptoms and  impact changes in your menstrual cycles such as progesterone, estrogen, testosterone, DHEA, cortisol, and thyroid hormones.

Cardiometabolic Testing: to look for various markers that may impact cardiovascular health, metabolism, and blood sugar abnormalities.

Bone Resorption Assessment: to evaluate for markers that may impact your bone health and assess the rate of bone turnover.

3 // Your Healthy Menopause Plan

The doctor will work with you to create a Vibrant Menopause/Perimenopause Plan for your body.  Your plan will be 100% tailored to you and will include nutritional recommendations and instructions about which natural medicines may be most beneficial for your hormones and body type.

4 // Follow-up Visits
The first follow-up appointment is generally 4-6 weeks after your first office visit and lasts 60 minutes. At this time, your doctor will go over the results of any new lab work that has been ordered, as well as check in with you to see how your current treatment plan is going. Based on the new labs and how you’re progressing, your individualized protocol will be fine-tuned. At this time the need for future follow-up appointments will be established. Patients are often surprised at how well they’re feeling just 4 weeks after beginning their treatment protocol.
